The Adventures of Elf and Leprechaun: Christmas Tree HQ – Part 2
After a death-defying escape and arduous journey of trekking, abseiling, reindeer-riding, giftwrap-climbing and hot-air ballooning, our two heroes, Elf and Leprechaun (do I now need to find names for both?!) found a quiet spot to set up camp.
And there in that quiet spot, the two new friends feasted on tiny marshmallows around their candle campfire and swapped tales of their lives, each tale growing taller as the night grew shorter.
But before dawn could break through the now dizzying heights both had reached in their story-telling, it was time to move on and set about the important business of spying and mischief-making.
And it was about almost precisely that near-exact o’clock that the leprechaun spied something so wonderful, so enticing, so deliciously ‘leprechaun’, and so… so… conveniently just right there!
It was GOLD! Lots and lots of gold!
So, Elf and Leprechaun did as elves and leprechauns must. They pillaged N’s pocket money!
And as pillagers, they did as pillagers must, they made a hasty escape in two conveniently located airplanes, and due to neither of them having a pilot’s license nor any idea how to fly, they promptly crash landed straight into the most hideous Christmas tree that had ever had the misfortune to be decorated.
Elf and Leprechaun took it upon themselves to re-decorate the poor tree, and in gratitude the Christmas tree agreed to become the home-base of the two adventurers, heretofore known as Christmas Tree HQ.
From the heights of their new base, Elf and Leprechaun surveyed their kingdom and set about plotting their next move…
